VirtualDub

VirtualDub is not only a free, powerful video processing application, it is also one of the most cleanly written applications that I’ve ever come across. An outstanding example of quality software: zen-like user interface, stable, fast and adaptable.

Video

Video technology initially fascinated me in school for reasons I can’t write about here ;-) It later fascinated me because of the fact that anything to do with video was either very CPU-intensive or very disk space-intensive. Oh, did I mention I also like watching movies, too?

Doom9 is the definitive resource on DIY video. There’s also VideoHelp.com.
